Woodlands Nature Lectures Kick Off on Sept. 8
The annual Walk in the Woods nature lecture series in The Woodlands kicks off on Sept. 8.

THE WOODLANDS, TX — Susan Heath will kick off the fall lineup for the Walk in the Woods Nature Lecture Series.
Heath, an avian conservation biologist, will discuss how hawk migration plays out on the Texas coast each fall. She will use photographs to reveal identifying characteristics, the adaptations for survival and the natural history 20 species of hawk.
The free program will be held in the L.G.I. Lecture Hall at McCullough Junior High School, 3800 S. Panther Creek Drive, in The Woodlands.
