The Woodlands Offering Engineering Classes for Kids
The Woodlands Township will host an engineering class for children 3.5-6 years old.

THE WOODLANDS, TX — Ask any parent of a toodler and they'll say that kids are a handful. They have an unbridled amount of curiosity and a surprising ability to take things apart.
The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department is offering parents a chance to help their little ones channel all that energy into something that's a little more constructive than seeing what the dog would look like purple.

The township is offering an engineering course for children 3.5-6 years old. The 40-minute class, which runs from Sept. 10 to Dec. 17, provides children with both open and focused exploration and allows them to create a variety of projects that teach engineering concepts through hands-on learning.
The entire session will cost residents of The Woodlands $316, it'll set non-residents back $326. Payment plans are available, parents can also pay by the month or put the whole nut up front for a $10 discount.
