The Woodlands School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, More

THE WOODLANDS, TX — The first day of school in The Woodlands is August 15 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the dates on your calendar ASAP. The Conroe Independent School District has released its 2018-2019 calendars for public schools.

The calendars include important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

August

• 8/15: First Day of School (Five Hour Day)

September

• 9/3: No School (Labor Day)

October

• 10/5: Early Dismissal
• 10/8: No School (Columbus Day)

November

• 11/20-11/23: No School (Thanksgiving)

December

• 12/19: Early Release
• 12/20-12/31: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1: No School (New Year's Day)
• 1/7: Staff Workday
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday)

February

• 2/18: No School (Presidents' Day)

March

• 3/8: Early Release
• 3/11-3/15: No School (Spring Break)

April

• 4/19, 4/22: No School

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)
• 5/30: Last Day of School, Early Release
