Best Grad Schools Ranked By U.S. News & World Report
The latest rankings break down the highest rated master's programs in business, nursing, education, medicine, law and engineering.
ACROSS AMERICA — The latest U.S. News & World Report rankings for best graduate schools in the country has been released. U.S. News based their rankings on expert opinions and statistics that measure the quality of the school’s faculty, research and students, it said in a news release.
Stanford University in California took the top spot with the best business school, followed by the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School at No. 2 and the University of Chicago’s Booth School at No. 3.
Yale University in Connecticut remains the top law school in the rankings. Stanford and Harvard University followed Yale as the top law schools on the list.

Harvard stayed atop the best medical schools for research category, followed by New York University’s Grossman School and Duke University. NYU and Duke both moved into the top three from last year’s rankings.
The University of Pennsylvania tied Harvard for the top spot in education programs, with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology No. 1 in engineering and Johns Hopkins University No. 1 in nursing.

Statistical surveys were sent to more than 23,000 academic professionals in the fall of 2020 and early 2021 to find the statistical portion of the methodology.
