Biden To Issue Gun Control Executive Actions This Week: Politico
President Joe Biden plans to unveil a package of executive actions aimed at curbing gun violence in America.

WASHINGTON, DC — President Joe Biden is expected to issue a number of executive actions on gun control sometime Thursday, Politico reported, citing sources familiar with the Biden administration's plans.
Among the executive actions will be to begin a process requiring buyers of homemade guns without serial numbers to undergo background checks, according to the Politico report.
Stakeholders have speculated other gun-related actions Biden could take involve gun bans for people convicted of domestic violence and additional regulations on concealed assault-style guns, the Politico report stated.

The gun control actions are expected to come in the wake of fatal mass shootings in Colorado, Georgia and California.
Biden, a backer of gun control measures for decades as a senator and then vice president, said "I don't need to wait another minute, let alone an hour, to take common sense steps that will save lives in the future," according to a CNN report, in the days after the March 22 mass shooting that killed 10 people at a King Scoopers grocery story in Boulder, Colorado.
