4.3 Magnitude Quake Hits Los Angeles Area

No injuries immediately reported.

An early morning 4.3-magnitude earthquake shook multiple towns in the Los Angeles area Saturday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake was centered in Fontana. Residents in Mira Loma, Santa Ana, Riverside, Norwalk, Ontario, Upland, Chino Hills, Pomona, Anaheim, Rialto, Rancho Cucamonga and Fullerton reported feeling tremors when it hit at 5:54 a.m., KABC reported.

No injuries or serious damage was immediately reported.

Two small aftershocks, magnitudes 1.6 and 1.2, also shook the area shortly before 7 a.m.
