Cobb County Police Investigating A Series Of Car Break-Ins
Police say victims would first make cash withdrawals at their banks. As they drove off, the suspects would follow them to their next stop.
COBB COUNTY, GA—The Cobb County Police Department is investigating several car break-ins that have occurred over the past few months. In these cases, the suspects often target Hispanic victims, police said.
According to police, the victims would visit banks in south Cobb County to make cash withdrawals. The suspects then followed the victims to their next destination where their vehicle is broken into and cash is stolen.
Police are encouraging citizens to be aware of their surroundings and watch for any suspicious persons or vehicles that may be following them. The Cobb County Police Department is also warning citizens to not leave large sums of money in their vehicles, whether the vehicle is locked or unlocked.
