Community Corner
Conversations Are Now On Patch!
You can join local discussions, share what's happening in the neighborhood, and celebrate your community with our new Conversations feature.

Hi, I'm Mike. I lead our Product team here at Patch.
I'm thrilled to announce the return of something we've been missing at Patch for far too long: your voice!
Starting this week, you can once again share your thoughts on Patch stories. But these are more than just "comments" — they're Conversations.
What are Conversations?
They're valuable, local discussions on Patch that emphasize community and promote the good that's happening in your town. They're healthy discourse about important topics. They're meaningful exchanges between neighbors.
And here’s where you come in.
The value of Conversations depends on all of us. By contributing quality, thoughtful posts that illuminate local issues, maintaining civility, and upvoting discussions that deepen local understanding, you help make Patch a more valuable local resource for everyone.
If you come across posts that are off-topic or unhelpful, downvote them — it helps keep the focus on what matters most: your community.
This isn’t the place for national politics (there are plenty of those already.) And you won't need to sift through personal attacks, ads or spam — though if you spot any, please report it.
Together, we can make Patch a place for real, constructive discussions about local life — something truly rare on the internet today.
So jump in and let us know what you think. Be transparent about who you are, and model the kind of dialogue you want to see around town.
Have a question about the new city ordinance? Want to weigh in on that new bakery? Find a story and start a Conversation.
Keep reading to learn how to join in — and I’ll see you in the Conversations.
Thanks,
Mike Carraggi | Head of Product
