Dancer & Actor Julz Tocker Makes a Splash on Social App LIVIT
The influencer and Dancing with the Stars alum finds success in a new and innovative realm

Today we also focus on Julz Tocker, a popular streamer on the LIVIT app. Julz is an acclaimed dancer known from his work on season 16 of "Dancing With the Stars." He has also worked on the award-winning film “La La Land,” helping to choreograph Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling.I had the opportunity to speak with Julz about his endeavors alongside his involvement and success with the LIVIT app.

What drove you to collaborate with the LIVIT app? How did you get involved?

As a host/presenter and not having much opportunity through the pandemic to work we where looking for some platforms to collaborate with and LIVIT came up and after meeting and connection I loved what they where doing and came onboard.
How does working on a streaming platform differ from appearing on television?
Streaming is a whole other world and reach. Because you are not tied down to one specific time or demographic you have a much wider range of viewers you can reach. Also it’s just me and no production team. So I’m in control and have to take responsibility which is actually a lot of fun! And getting to create and come up with my own ideas.
What kind of content do you like to bring to your viewers? We noticed you have a few theme nights...
Each week is a little different, I do like to have a few themed night. Sunday sessions where I interview another streamer, Monday Motivations where I talk about tools and tips to help inspire and motivate oneself. Then I have some other fun themes like game night and cocktails and conversations.
What features do you like on the app that you don't get on others like TikTok and Instagram?
Being able to have the viewers call in is amazing while steaming. I love that. Also being able to to a VS where you connect with another streamer whole could be anywhere around the world totally random!! That’s a lot of fun!
What inspires you and drives your vision on the account?
My Vision and Drive comes from empathic feelings And thought process. What do the viewers need, what would help them, if I was watching my stream what would I want to hear and see and learn. I’m always wanting to help and develop people and myself. So I try to think of what would help people and of course keeping it fun and entertaining!
How has your streaming routine changed since the pandemic?
I started Streaming in the pandemic so it’s all I have known. It’s been amazing to have my own schedule and flexibility. It changes now and then but also that created opportunity for me to connect with other fans across the world with is something I love to do!
Already in the public eye, how has the app helped you to interact and engage with fans in the new world?
LIVIT has great functions for interaction with fans and supporters on the app. I think that’s one of the great things and why I love it so much. It’s designed to support! And really is so amazing for the streamer to have that support being so clever and easy. And to communicate with the fans which is key!
At the end of the day, what do you want viewers to take away from your streams?
My whole plan is to inspire and help people become the best version of themselves! Through LIVIT and streaming I hope that the viewers are getting tools and tips to help them in many ways. Also having a laugh along the way and communicating being real to reach other and creating this supportive loving community where everyone feels safe to be able to talk freely and have the support there for them!
