Do Your Homework And You Could Call One Of These Old Schoolhouses Home
While kids are going back to school, parents are bidding on old schoolhouses. And we kind of want one.

Last month, a lot of people seemed obsessed with the idea of living in their very own lighthouse. This month? It's all about schoolhouses.
According to realtor.com, the latest housing trend sweeping the nation is converting old schoolhouses into quaint single-family homes. From New York to Wisconsin, Delaware to Maine, properties that once housed classrooms and chalkboards now boast spacious bedrooms, full kitchens and walk-in closets.
And instead of learning history in these schoolhouses, their buyers will own a brand new bit of the past. For example, the schoolhouse pictured above, for sale in Luxemburg, Wisconsin, was built in 1942. (The list price? $164,700.)
