Enter Patch's Holiday Gingerbread House Contest

The holiday season is upon us and we think we all could use some extra cheer this year. We're inviting our readers to help make the world a little sweeter with Patch's first-ever Gingerbread House Contest!

We're launching a nationwide search for the most creative gingerbread house on the block. Feeling festive? Turn up the holiday music, grab the candy canes and get building! Don't forget to snap a photo! You'll have the chance to see your gingerbread house featured on Patch and one winner will be selected to take home a Patch swag package and a $50 gift card. Good luck!

Get creative! Here are some ideas to kick it off:

• Build it from scratch or use a pre-made kit
• Make it colorful or keep it classic
• Recreate a notable landmark or build your dream house
• Give your house a theme

Here's how the contest works:

1. You must be subscribed to Patch's local newsletters. (You can sign up here.)
2. Snap a photo of your gingerbread house and submit it through the official entry form by Dec. 8, 2020.
3. See your gingerbread house featured on Patch!
4. The winner will be selected based on creativity by a team of internal judges by Dec. 14, 2020.

• $50 gift card to your favorite local business
