ACROSS AMERICA — Exorcisms have become more frequent in recent years. But they are still mostly held at religious institutions or inside people’s home.

The age-old practice in Christian and Jewish faiths isn’t something you would expect to see at a home improvement store, but that’s exactly where one occurred earlier this week, police in a Pennsylvania city casually wrote while reporting the day’s police blotter.
