The Flintstones Win In Court + World War II Hero’s 100th Birthday

ACROSS AMERICA — There’s a house in suburban San Francisco dedicated to “The Flintstones,” the iconic 1960s-era cartoon. The Hillsborough, California, property even has a scaled sculpture of Fred Flintstone himself in the yard.

But not everyone has been “yabba dabba do” about the site that has drawn Flintstones fans from around the world. It was called an “eyesore” by the town, which sued the home’s owner to have it taken down.

The lawsuit has since been settled, and the agreement states that Fred and the yabba dabba, 1960s themed residence to stay put. Read the story on Burlingame-Hillsborough, CA Patch

WWII Hero Celebrates 100th Birthday
