After more than a year of working from home, a shocking number of people would rather quit their jobs than head back to the office.

It's been dubbed the "Great Resignation," according to a recent report by jobs site Monster.com. A staggering 95 percent of workers are considering changing jobs, while 92 percent said they're even willing to switch industries to find the right position.

So what's behind the shift? Many workers prefer the flexibility of remote work at least a few days a week, according to the report. Others are simply burned out while also trying to balance child care and remote school.
