School's out, and there are lots of locals looking for work. Post your summer jobs on Patch and you can reach them directly.

Right now, area schools are letting out, and college students are coming home for the summer. That's a whole fresh crop of folks with time on their hands and eager to get a bit of extra cash in their pockets.
They're searching for seasonal employment and might be perfect for the job you're hoping to fill — but they have to find it before they can apply.

When you post a job on Patch, it's specifically targeted to people in your area who are looking for work. This means that unlike what happens with those big, anonymous job sites, your post won't be buried among other listings from all across the map. When a jobseeker looks at the listings on Patch, they're seeing only the listings in their area — yours included.
Targeting jobseekers in your area is easy. Here's how:

- Sign up for a Patch account. You can do this through your Facebook account, by credit card verification or applying directly through Patch. It's quick, easy and free.
- Fill out your job posting. This is where you list information about the role you're hiring for and what it is you're looking for in a candidate. You can also share some information about your business, your company website and any other relevant information you'd like to include.
- Hit post! (Told you it was easy.)
Your listing will appear on your local Patch homepage and the job listings page for 30 days. It will also be featured in the Patch daily newsletter and a weekly roundup that's sent to all of of Patch's social followers.
It costs $100 to post your listing to your local Patch, and $25 for each additional Patch after that — you can choose up to 10. So if you wanted to post an opening to your Patch and three nearby Patches, it would cost you $100 for the first post and $25 for the additional Patches, bringing your total to $175.
