LIVIT is an international live streaming app for rising music artists, entertainers and influencers across the board. Making a splash in the overseas market, the buzzworthy platform is now breaking grounds in the U.S. in unique and innovative ways.

During the pandemic, streaming has become increasingly popular; not only in terms of creators engaging with their fans, but bringing in extra cash flow in a time of uncertainty. This resonates especially in younger generations who are seeking to connect with the outside world, in which oftentimes they are lacking the freedom to head to work as normal.

With the LIVIT app, streamers are able to monetize their content in real time. Viewers have the option to "gift" or donate money to their favorite creators, supporting their artistry. This allows content creators on LIVIT to take charge in building their own careers.

LIVIT enables users to watch real, entertaining and live content 24/7, as well as make real connections with streamers and viewers. Streamers on Livit make money from their content by gaining in-app coins from fans.Viewers can also take a look into the lives of the hottest talent and most captivating personalities, while being a part of the supportive community by commenting in streams and attending exclusive events. Throughout the course of the last two weeks, we've spoken to rising LIVIT streamers such as actress Ami Haruna, Kalijah Wayne, and Jessica Cymone to name a few. The ease and overall experience of the app bring people together from all over the world, as they tune in and also support their favorite creators. On the LIVIT app you'll find everything and anything from musicians, actors, artists and beyond. All sharing their craft, skill, and personalities that has streamers tuned in and watching closely.

Recently we spoke to Head of Operations for LIVIT in the U.S., Armin Collosi who gives additional insight on the future of streamers on the LIVIT app in a short and insightful interview.

How did you get involved with the LIVIT app?

I was introduced by a good friend who worked with me at my previous startup -- Blast. I was intrigued to know more about what LIVIT was as I had not heard about it. Since I was already familiar with live streaming via Twitch and knew that Twitch’s fastest growing category was “Just Chatting,” LIVIT seemed incredibly interesting because they focused solely on users/streamers that did exactly that.

In your eyes, how does LIVIT differ from other social media apps out there right now? What sets LIVIT apart?

LIVIT was incredibly successful in democratizing streaming for any type of streamer. LIVIT allows any race, gender, or age to just quickly jump on and showcase a piece of their lives or talent easily. On Twitch you’re required to have a powerful computer and the ability to set up OBS, but with LIVIT you can be up and live streaming with a few taps. Interaction is our biggest differentiator. Most social media channels leave you feeling empty and alone by the time you’re done endlessly scrolling through a feed. What LIVIT has accomplished is allowing you to find a streamer that matches your interest and the ability to join that community of users and while sharing a mutual interest and love whether it is traveling around the world or making a perfect cup of coffee.

What are you most excited for, upcoming for LIVIT, or how do you see it growing in the next year?

I’m excited to see the next generation of content that streamers are going to produce once they’re allowed to explore the world again. Traveling & exploration content is one of my favorites along with getting more behind-the-scenes content from some of my favorite musicians and artists. Watching these musicians in their creative process and getting a behind-the-scenes look as to how challenging it can be to create some of the most influential songs of all time.
