ACROSS AMERICA — Most of us have done something that is, well, not smart at least once in our lives.

Anna Hughes’ mother offered some pretty great advice that anyone who’s ever made a boneheaded move from time to time might do well to remember:

“If you are going to do something stupid, do it quick and get out of everyone else’s way.”

That sounds about right.
