Mom Says It Best: Marry That Woman

ACROSS AMERICA — TL Bagley met the love of his life decades ago.

His mom introduced them.

She died of lung cancer when she was 48, but taught Bagley, a Joliet, Illinois, Patch reader, some valuable life lessons.

“One thing she told me that always stuck in my memory was, ‘Treat people how you would want to be treated,’ ” he wrote in a tribute to his mother. “She also introduced me to my wife of 28 years, so she is still blessing me.”
