ACROSS AMERICA — Tricia Stevens has passed her mother’s best advice on to her own children.

The words her mother spoke “have been important words to live by, the Hatfield, Pennsylvania, woman wrote in a tribute to her mother.

The advice is this:

“Walk a mile in someone else’s shoes. So, before judging someone, understand what they are experiencing.”
