WASHINGTON — The FBI released 11 new videos from the Jan. 6 Capitol riot on Tuesday, the six-month anniversary of the insurrection that also led to five deaths in Washington, D.C.

The videos, all shorter than two minutes, show suspects fighting with federal police officers.

The 11 people shown on the new Capitol riot videos are among “the most violent” who have not been identified, the FBI said in a news release.

In the six months since the riot, the FBI has arrested more than 500 people, including 100 who have been accused of assaulting police officers.

“Tipsters should rest assured that the FBI is working diligently behind the scenes to follow all investigative leads to verify tips from the public and bring these criminals to justice,” Steven D’Antuono of the FBI’s Washington Field Office said in a statement encouraging more tips from the public and stressing that the Jan. 6 criminal investigation remains a top priority.

“As we have seen with dozens of cases so far, the tips matter,” he said.
