New flights, return of travelers leads to busier airport Airport Advises Travelers to Plan for Additional Time at RNO Reno, Nev. – Busy travel days are back at Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) with a record number of destinations that will lead to busy parking lots and longer lines in ticketing and the security checkpoint. It is recommended that travelers arrive early or
consider obtaining a ride to RNO due to limited parking capacity. If you are parking a car at RNO, allow extra travel time to follow the signs for over-flow parking. Expect delays going through the TSA screening process and at some concessions. Travelers should arrive 2 hours to 90
minutes before their scheduled flight. Pent up travel demand from the pandemic, and a very strong airport recovery, means a busier airport. In the long term, the airport is analyzing additional parking areas, an expanded ticket lobby and new concourses as our airport and region
continue to grow. For more information on RNO’s new flights and destinations, go to https://go.renoairport.com/.
