If this weekend's eclectic offering of new movies is any indication of what's to come in April, color us excited. "A testament to life after death."

Nominated for two Sundance Film Festival awards last year, "Newtown" has had limited distribution since its 2016 release — until now. The documentary, which brings to light the aftermath of the Dec. 14, 2012, mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, premieres on PBS on April 3. Why is it important to revisit such a tragedy? So about those April showers... If they do come, you can catch us on the couch attempting to watch a whopping 25 new Netflix original titles premiering this month, starting with "Win It All," starring Jake Johnson as a small-time gambler. (That name sound familiar? Johnson is also known as oh-my-gosh-I-love-him Nick Miller from "New Girl.")
