The new year is supposed to be all about making and keeping resolutions. But we think everyone deserves a break from their new and improved 2019 lifestyles — especially given January's abundance of entertainment.

The Most Anticipated Movies of 2019

In 2019, the entertainment world welcomes everything from comedies and dramas to horror flicks and action adventures. We can expect live-action versions of Disney-favorites "The Lion King" with stars such as Beyoncé Knowles and Seth Rogen as well as "Aladdin," in which Will Smith stars as the beloved Genie.

"Rocketman," chronicles the life of Elton John (Taron Egerton), from years as a child prodigy at the Royal Academy of Music to his long-lasting partnership with Bernie Taupin (Jamie Bell).

In the superhero genre, "Captain Marvel," "Spider-Man: Far From Home" and "Glass" will all make a splash in theaters this year. Here's what else to see in 2019.


What's New On Netflix?

From Pixar's "Incredibles 2," and Disney's "Solo: A Star Wars Story" to Marvel's "Ant-Man And The Wasp" and Harrison Ford's "Indiana Jones: The Complete Collection Adventure," there are tons of popular blockbusters streaming this month on Netflix.
