Who needs Stonehenge when there’s another mysteriously placed stone slab structure in Elbert County, Georgia? The Georgia Guidestones are six astronomically aligned slabs that are 20 feet tall and weigh more than 100 tons.
They originally appeared in 1980 after an anonymous person with the pseudonym R.C. Christian commissioned the Elberton Granite Finishing company to create them on behalf of “a small group of loyal Americans.” The slabs have inscriptions in eight different languages with messages like “Balance personal rights to social duties” and “Let these be guidestones to an age of reason.”

While no one knows the true identity of the person responsible for them, there are plenty of conspiracy theorists who believe the stones are related to the Satanists or the New World Order.
#2. Dinosaur World in Cave City, Kentucky

Sure, the dinosaurs may have gone extinct a few years before humans started roaming the earth — but you might forget that for a second if you drive past the Dinosaur World sign in Cave City, Kentucky, where a life-sized Tyrannosaurus rex replica stands guarding the entrance to the park.
Inside its gates you can wander along a forest trail pretending you're in Jurassic Park as you search for dinosaur statues scattered throughout the park. There’s also a fossil dig where children can hunt for dinosaur teeth, gastropods and stingray barbs.
#3. Precious Moments Chapel and Gardens in Carthage, Missouri

Remember those figurines your grandmother used to collect? You know, the ones with the button noses and huge eyes? Well, prepare for a blast from the past as we head to Carthage, Missouri, where the Precious Moments Cathedral and Gardens pays homage to these sweet statues.
The company's creator, Samuel J. Butcher, built the complex in 1989, creating gardens, statues and even a Sistine Chapel replica that replaces Michelangelo's paintings with renderings of Precious Moments figures.
