Presidential Election 2016 Memes, Blunders and Highlights
After over a year of "deplorables," Twitter disputes and theories surrounding the Zodiac Killer, the 2016 election blunders aren't over yet.
The 2016 presidential election has been anything but "low energy." It's been well over a year since both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump announced their bids for the nation's top office, and the journey to this day has been littered with snarky soundbites, scandals and Twitter beefs.
The controversy surrounding both candidates and the generally unconventional nature of this election is expected to continue through Election Day — and night.

Both candidates cast their votes amidst complaints of long lines and broken ballot scanners. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio took to Twitter in a seven-tweet address to voters and state officials.

— Bill de Blasio (@NYCMayor) November 8, 2016
