The R Train Share Intriguing New Track "Timeline"

Doing Rock n' Roll on their own terms

Back on the music scene with their latest single "Timeline", The R Train Band brings a fun modern twist to a classic rock sound we all know and love. Released this Spring, "Timeline" is an introspective rock song about living your life to the fullest and not throwing your time away. The song is introduced by a hard hitting drum roll that is quickly accompanied by a a catchy electric guitar riff. Supported by a melodic bass, rhythmic chiming tambourine, and whirling auto-tuned vocals, "Timeline" adds some unusual elements that speak to the sub-genre of modern rock while also reminiscing on music from the time of Jimi Hendrix and Aerosmith. The piece, an ode to victims of time, is an infectious song with a message for all of us who needed a reminder to savor our life and our time.

The Brooklyn based trio consists of vocalist and guitarist Jeffrey Black, drummer and vocalist Mike Annese and bassist and harmonist Denny Lee. Formed in 2019, and named while traveling New York City's intricate subway system, The R Train Band is known for its incredible live performances and unique feel. Though they have only released four songs, their unique spot within the classical rock genre already seems to be prevalent, and their unique tunes; unforgettable.

The R Train Band’s goal is to inspire everyone to get up out of their seats, forget about the everyday stresses of the world for a little while, rock your heart out, and dance to the feel of the music. Most of all, remember always fight for what you believe in and be who you are inside on the outside. We invite you to climb on board the unstoppable R Train band for a non-stop fun energetic ride down the tracks toward the future and remember that life is what you make of it. Don’t forget to stop and hear and feel the music in your soul!
