Nick Mullens Makes Epic NFL Debut As 49ers Quarterback: PHOTOS
The San Francisco 49ers quarterback made an impactful NFL debut, leading the team to a 34-3 win against the Oakland Raiders.
Nick Mullens is the name to know this NFL season, as the American quarterback just made headlines for his impactful debut game with the league. Throwing for 262 yards and 3 touchdowns, Mullens was integral in leading the San Francisco 49ers to a 34-3 victory against the Oakland Raiders on Nov. 01, 2018.
After posting record stats playing at the University of Southern Mississippi, Mullens signed with the San Francisco 49ers as an undrafted free agent in May of 2017. The Niners then quickly waived the fourth backup quarterback from their final roster that following September. It wasn't over yet though for Mullens and San Francisco, as the team went on to sign him to their practice squad, where the quarterback would ultimately spend his entire rookie season. The rest is history.
