Southwest Offering $50 Flights From Airports Across America
Southwest offers cheap one-way fares — including on some international flights — in its end-of-spring 50th birthday sale.

ACROSS AMERICA — Southwest Airlines is offering one-way flights from your local airport for as low as $50 as part of its end-of-spring sale and 50th birthday celebration.
With every adult in the United States now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, it might be time to think about getting away for a while after spending a year cooped up indoors because of the pandemic. The cheap fares are available from now until 11:59 p.m. Central Time on May 3, according to the airline.
The sale applies to flights in the continental U.S., Puerto Rico and international travel from May 3 through May 26 and Sept. 7 through Nov. 5. The sale also applies to flights to and from Hawaii from May 3 through May 26 and Aug. 9 through Nov. 5.

Flights must be purchased at least 21 days in advance, the airlines said.
Travelers flying from Los Angeles can fly up to San Francisco for as low as $50 while a plane from New York City to Baltimore can be as cheap as $67.

Blackout dates for domestic travel in the continental U.S. are Oct. 11 and Nov. 1, and blackout dates for travel from Hawaii are from Aug. 9 to Aug. 15. The sale does not apply to travel on Fridays and Sundays within the continental U.S.
