ACROSS AMERICA — A phenomenon in which the sunset is aligned with city streets is creating a buzz in and near New York City.

The “Manhattanhenge” phenomenon comes when the setting sun aligns with the east-west streets in city's Manhattan borough at the moment it sits on the horizon. It’s set to reach its full effect in the coming days, but residents across the river were given an early preview Monday night.

Landmark Opioid Trial: Sites Selected

Five jurisdictions across the country have been selected as sites for historic opioid trials that could determine major pharmacy chains' responsibility in the country's opioid crisis. More than 2,000 lawsuits aiming to hold drugmakers, pharmacies and distributors accountable for the thousands of deaths now attributed to opioid overdoses were consolidated into what is considered a landmark case in an Ohio federal court.
