Imagine your local park with brand-new hiking trails, your library equipped with upgraded technology or your town's historic building with much-needed repairs completed. T-Mobile wants to help bring these community project ideas to life through its Hometown Grant program, which awards up to $50,000 for shovel-ready projects.
T-Mobile is investing $25 million in 500 rural towns over five years to jumpstart projects and build stronger neighborhoods. They?re awarding 25 grants each quarter to small towns just like yours.

What kinds of projects will T-Mobile fund?
T-Mobile?s Hometown Grant program funds projects to build, rebuild or refresh community spaces that help foster local connections in your town. Projects should be construction-ready physical builds or improvements that can be completed within 12 months of receiving Hometown Grant funding.
What?s needed to apply for a Hometown Grant?
Each applicant?s proposal must include a thorough description of plans, budget, timeline, anticipated impact, and up to five letters of support from community members.

Who can apply for a Hometown Grant?
Elected officials, town managers and employees, tribal leaders or non-profit organizations from towns with a population of less than 50,000 can apply for a Hometown Grant. When applying, it?s important to include how the project would benefit the community and where it might otherwise be difficult to secure funding.

- Step 2: You?ll be taken to an application page with detailed steps on how to upload documents and include the required information and project details.
- Step 3: Once you submit your proposal, you?ll get a confirmation email that your application was received. Within 60 days of the application window closing, every applicant will be notified via email whether their project proposal is a winner.
