As acclaimed producer Cameron Mackintosh explains it, "There's something about this material that will work whether it's in the school room, in a concert hall or on the stage, and that's very, very rare for any musical. It requires truth — you obviously have to be able to sing it — but truth and passion is what matters, and imagination."

You'll hear all your favorite musical numbers.

"Les Misérables" features beloved songs like "I Dreamed A Dream," "On My Own," "Stars," "Bring Him Home" and "One Day More." The music, all performed live, is integral to the story and the overall experience of seeing the show.

No detail is spared.

There wasn't a detail overlooked going into this production of "Les Misérables." Each character's costume looks like what you'd see in 19th-century France, and the stage, props and "dazzlingly reimagined scenery" were all "inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo," according to the official "Les Mis" website.

You'll be blown away by the all-star cast.

There are fresh faces (like the talented young actors playing little Cosette, young Éponine, and petit Gervais) as well as recognizable names from the Great White Way (like Nick Cartell as Jean Valjean and Josh Davis as Javert). Each and every member of this cast brings passion and believability to the stage in a way that evokes compassion and empathy from the audience.

It's gotten rave reviews.

Don't just take our word for it — check out what the critics have to say! Because as Amy Stumpfl, a reviewer for The Tennessean, put it, "No matter how many times you've seen it before, this 'Les Misérables' is not to be missed."

The New York Times described this production of the show as, "Thrilling, spectacular and unforgettable," while an Associated Press reviewer called it simply, "Glorious New Miz."

"This new touring production of 'Les Misérables' is magnificent," wrote Toby Zinman, a reviewer for the Philadelphia Inquirer. Channing Gray of The Providence Journal agreed, writing, "This 'Les Miz' is a winner. Standout cast shines in a revamped production."

The Hartford Courant's Christopher Arnott described it as "A stirring, thumping, heart-throbbing return of a pop opera whose themes of revolution and righteousness seem particularly well suited to our current turbulent times."
