But that's not all! Share your pup's paw-some costume photo on Patch and you'll be entered for the chance to win a gift basket from Paws Pet Boutique. Give your dog the internet fame they deserve.

Here's how to post on Patch in 5 simple steps:

Step 1: Click "Post on Patch" to create your account. Once you are logged in, you're ready to create your article on Patch!

Step 2: Click or tap "Write An Article." Enter the name of your dog in the title field, with his/her breed and age below that. Then, type a short description (3-5 sentences) of your pooch, their costume, and any other fun facts you want to share with your neighbors!

Step 3: Add a photo of your dog in costume! Click on "Browse" to choose your favorite photo and then click "Upload" to add to the article.

Step 4: Post your article! Once you've got everything looking good, click or tap "Post Now" at the bottom to get your article live. Click on your article preview to open it in a browser window.

Step 5: Email your article to Patch! Copy the URL of your live article on Patch and send it to submissions@patch.com by Oct. 31 to be entered to win a prize. This is the most important step, so don't forget to send us an email!
