“This song started out originally when UPSAHL sent over a bass line idea and vocals. From there I knew I wanted to make it as upbeat and funky as I could to match the energy that UPSAHL was bringing. My goal was to make summer come early!” - Yung Bae

Led by a funky bass line and retro synths, “Woman On The Moon'' is unmistakably a Yung Bae disco track. The dance-inducing single blends pop and disco music together as UPSAHL’s hypnotic and irresistible vocals speak about the feeling of being high from someone’s touch. The snappy chorus repeats to create a hypnotic experience as the combination of Bae’s lively future funk and UPSAHL’s signature unfiltered lyricism provide audiences with a memorable listening experience.
Arizona pop disruptor UPSAHL’s hypnotic vocals are featured throughout the track. Racking up over 100 million global streams, she has ignited a groundswell of fan adoration and tastemaker praise by way of numerous indie alternative gems including “Drugs,” which reached #6 on the TikTok Viral Chart and #1 Sound on TikTok’s Trends Chart. Billboard went on to crown her sophomore EP, Young Life Crisis, as one of the top 25 pop albums of 2020 while SPIN proclaimed that she is "joining the ranks of kickass women in music."
“We wanted to make a feel good song that you would want to dance to. The flip to "woman on the moon" (instead of man on the moon) is so badass. Yung Bae completely killed the production!” - UPSAHL
