Billy Bush Confirms: 'Access Hollywood' Tape Is Real

Bush says that, in light of the president's on-tape admissions, he believes the women who say Trump assaulted them.

WASHINGTON, DC — An unaired tape from the show "Access Hollywood" rocked the 2016 presidential campaign when it was revealed Donald Trump told then-host of the show Billy Bush about his habit of kissing and groping women without asking. The tape was released about a month before the election, and by November 9, Trump had become president-elect, and Bush was without a job.

Now, in the midst of reports that Trump recently told confidants that the voice on the tape may not be his, Bush is speaking out. In a New York Times op-ed published Sunday, Bush writes that Trump absolutely said he "just start[s] kissing" women without asking and boasted about "grab[bing] 'em by the p---y." Bush goes further than confirming the tape's contents, however — he ties them directly to the allegations of sexual harassment and assault women have made against the president.

In light of Trump's admissions on the tape to the behavior these women describe, Bush says he believes them.

"Kristin Anderson said that Mr. Trump reached under her skirt and 'touched her vagina through her underwear' while they were at a New York nightclub in the 1990s," Bush writes. "That makes the 'grab ’em by the [p---y]' routine real. I believe her."
