CNN, Jeffrey Lord Sever Ties
The last straw for Jeffrey Lord at CNN? Invoking a Nazi salute.

Jeffrey Lord, a regular cheerleader for President Trump as a contributor to CNN, will no longer appear on the network as of Thursday afternoon. The last straw was Lord tweeting "Sig Heil!" at Media Matters For America President Angelo Carusone.
"Nazi salutes are indefensible," a CNN spokesperson said in a statement, according to CNNMoney. "Jeffrey Lord is no longer with the network." (For more national political news, sign up for the free White House Patch email newsletter.)

Lord and Carusone are frequent adversaries. In the midst of a Twitter spat, Lord on Thursday wrote a column for The American Spectator that called the latter's group "fascists."
