'Daily Show' Correspondent: White Supremacists Are Ruining A Good Thing

'Daily Show' correspondent Roy Wood Jr. got real about racism on Monday night's episode.

"Daily Show" correspondent Roy Wood Jr., asked by host Trevor Noah Monday night if, as a black man, he was shocked at the recent racial unrest in the country, had a blunt answer.

"Shocked? That there's racism in America? The Klan marching doesn't shock me," said Wood. "What would shock me is if they marched in the hood. Take that s--- to Oakland and see what happens."

Wood added that he doesn't understand why white supremacists, who "have a guy on the inside" now, are ruining it by drawing heat to themselves at their rallies. (For more national political news, sign up for the free White House Patch email newsletter.)

Noah opened the segment by saying, "Let's talk about this idea that white people are biologically superior for a second" and joking about "white people having Larry Bird" but black people pretty much having every other basketball star since.
