George H. W. Bush Groped Woman During '92 Campaign: CNN

Previous accusers have said the former president groped them long after his time in office.

WASHINGTON, DC — A new woman came forward Thursday to accuse former President George H. W. Bush of grabbing her inappropriately during a photoshoot the midst of the 1992 presidential campaign, CNN reported. Her voice joins those of at least six others who have made similar allegations against the ex-president, but the new charge is the only one that reportedly occurred during his time in office.

"We got closer together for a family photo and it was like 'Holy crap!'" the woman, whose name has not been revealed, told CNN. She said she was at a fundraiser for the campaign with her father and was taking a photo alongside the president when he grabbed her butt. "It was like a gentle squeeze."

The other women who have come forward about being grabbed by the former president had said the events occurred long after his presidency. Given Bush's advancing years — he's 93 — and his diagnosis with a condition similar to Parkinson's disease, some have downplayed the reports of his sexual misconduct.
