WASHINGTON, D.C.—Trying to remove himself as a talking point that can be used to attack his father, Hunter Biden stepped down from the board of Chinese private equity company. His decision was announced Sunday morning in a statement from his lawyer.
Joe Biden has found himself the subject of attacks with increasing vitriol from President Trump over the involvement of Hunter in businesses in Ukraine and China.
While Trump has accused the Bidens of corruption there's never been any evidence to back up those accusations.

In the statement released by his lawyer, Hunter Biden added that if his dad were elected president, he won't worked for any foreign owned company.
Biden also said that he hasn't discussed his business dealings with his father.
