Jimmy Kimmel Got Help From Chuck Schumer On Health Care: Report

The Senate minority leader assisted the late-night TV host, who has been rallying against the Graham-Cassidy bill all week.

During his on-air push against the GOP's latest health care bill this week, late-night TV host Jimmy Kimmel was in touch with Sen. Chuck Schumer's office, which “provided technical guidance and info about the bill, as well as stats from various think tanks and experts on the effects of" the proposal, The Daily Beast reported Friday afternoon, citing a source familiar with the conversations.

Kimmel and his staff worked with the Senate minority leader from New York's staff because the comedian "wanted to learn more about what was going on politically and policy-wise, [and] he wanted to fight this thing," said a source with direct knowledge of the conversations, according to The Daily Beast.
