Jimmy Kimmel Rips Senator (Again), Threatens To 'Pound' Fox News 'Creep'
Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel is not backing down from Sen. Bill Cassidy or his views on health care reform.

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, whose impassioned remarks about health care and his young son's heart problems captured the nation's attention in May, continued his attack on Sen. Bill Cassidy Wednesday night.
On Tuesday night, Kimmel had ripped Cassidy for introducing the Graham-Cassidy bill, which appears to fall short of the criteria Cassidy promised during an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live"; Cassidy had even called it "The Jimmy Kimmel Test."

On Wednesday, Cassidy fought back on CNN, saying Kimmel "didn't understand," and later that night, Kimmel cranked up the war of words. (For more national political news, sign up for the free White House Patch email newsletter.)
“I don’t want to turn this into a Kanye-and-Taylor-Swift-type situation, but when Senator Cassidy was on my show in May, he told me that he believed that every American family regardless of income should be able to get quality health care," Kimmel said. "And I believed he was sincere. Sadly, the bill he unveiled last week with Senator Lindsey Graham indicates that he was not sincere. It is, by many accounts, the worst health care bill yet.”

Kimmel then turned his attention to Fox News host Brian Kilmeade, who had bemoaned that the comedian is just another "Hollywood elite" pushing his politics. Kimmel shot back, revealing that Kilmeade "kisses my ass like a little boy meeting Batman" whenever he sees him, asked Kimmel to write a blurb for his book (which Kimmel did) and desperately wants to be a part of the Hollywood elite he claims to despise.
"I don’t get anything out of this, Brian, you phony little creep," Kimmel said. "Oh, I’ll pound you when I see you. That will be my blurb for your next book: ‘Brian Kilmeade is a phony little creep.’”
