Trump Blames 'Far-Left' Politicians For Civil Unrest: Replay
President Donald Trump addressed the media a day before his plan to visit Kenosha, Wisconsin.
WASHINGTON, DC — President Donald Trump blamed Democratic politicians for civil unrest unfolding in a number of states during his Monday news briefing at the White House.
"The violence is fueled by dangerous rhetoric from far-left politicians that demonize our nation and demonize our police," Trump said.
"We have to allow our police to do what they are very good at doing."

Before the briefing, the president was again active on Twitter earlier in the day. He criticized both leadership in Portland over the recent civil unrest there and his challenger in the upcoming election, Democrat Joe Biden.
He tried to connect the Joe Biden campaign with the "radical left" that promotes "looting" and "rioting." Biden, however, has condemned the rioting and looting taking place in cities like Portland, Oregon and Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Trump, on Twitter, said Biden seemed more upset with police than the "rioters, anarchists, agitators and looters" in Biden's Monday afternoon speech in Pittsburgh.
He again confirmed his plans to visit Kenosha on Tuesday, despite Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers urging him to "stay away" from the city.
"If I didn’t INSIST on having the National Guard activate and go into Kenosha, Wisconsin, there would be no Kenosha right now. Also, there would have been great death and injury," Trump tweeted.
