Mike Pence: I Won't Run In 2020, NYT Report Is 'Disgraceful'
The New York Times also mentions Senators Ben Sasse and Tom Cotton as potential 2020 candidates. Gov. John Kasich has said he might run too.

Vice President Mike Pence called a front-page story in the Sunday New York Times reporting that some of his advisers have told Republican donors that he would run for president in 2020 if President Trump did not seek reelection "disgraceful and offensive to me, my family, and our entire team."
Taking a page out of his boss's playbook, Pence, in a statement, called the report "fake news," saying the "allegations in this article are categorically false and represent just the latest attempt by the media to divide this Administration."
The Times piece by Jonathan Martin and Alexander Burns, headlined "Republican Shadow Campaign for 2020 Takes Shape as Trump Doubts Grow," reports that "would-be candidates are cultivating some of the party’s most prominent donors, courting conservative interest groups and carefully enhancing their profiles."

The Times also mentions Republican Senators Ben Sasse and Tom Cotton, as well as Ohio Gov. John Kasich, who ran in last year's Republican primary, as potential candidates in 2020; Kasich has already said publicly he might run again.
