NY Times Shows Video of Navy SEAL Testimony On Pardoned Leader
The Times obtained video interviews and texts showing men describing their platoon leader, Eddie Gallagher: 'The Guy is Freaking Evil.'

The New York Times has obtained video of investigative interviews conducted with the Navy SEALs who accused Special Operations Chief Eddie Gallagher of war crimes, including murder.
Gallagher was cleared of the most serious charges and was pardoned by President Trump in November.
The Times is releasing the interviews with the fellow Navy SEALs who turned Gallagher in, as well as helmet cam video that shows the captive shortly before he was killed.

From the Times:
They offer the first opportunity outside the courtroom to hear directly from the men of Alpha platoon, SEAL Team 7, whose blistering testimony about their platoon chief was dismissed by Trump when he upended the military code of justice to protect Chief Gallagher from the punishment, the Times reported.
“The guy is freaking evil,” Special Operator Miller told investigators. “The guy was toxic,” Special Operator First Class Joshua Vriens, a sniper, said in a separate interview. “You could tell he was perfectly O.K. with killing anybody that was moving,” Special Operator First Class Corey Scott, a medic in the platoon, told the investigators.
