Here's what President Trump is tweeting about — and what it means.

Twitter has become a modern-day version of the fireside chat for Donald Trump, whose tweets are his preferred 140-character forum for getting out his message — both when he was a candidate and now as commander in chief.
Patch will share Trump's daily dispatches from his preferred platform in one handy post, as well as the context and facts, when appropriate. (For more national political news, sign up for the free White House Patch email newsletter)

Fake News story of secret dinner with Putin is "sick." All G 20 leaders, and spouses, were invited by the Chancellor of Germany. Press knew!

The Fake News is becoming more and more dishonest! Even a dinner arranged for top 20 leaders in Germany is made to look sinister!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 19, 2017
The context: In addition to their scheduled meetings at the G20 summit, Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin met again informally for more than an hour, according to multiple reports, in a conversation that wasn't disclosed until Tuesday.

We were let down by all of the Democrats and a few Republicans. Most Republicans were loyal, terrific & worked really hard. We will return!

As I have always said, let ObamaCare fail and then come together and do a great healthcare plan. Stay tuned!

With only a very small majority, the Republicans in the House & Senate need more victories next year since Dems totally obstruct, no votes!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 18, 2017
The Senate must go to a 51 vote majority instead of current 60 votes. Even parts of full Repeal need 60. 8 Dems control Senate. Crazy!

The context: Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says he will push forward with a pure "repeal" of Obamacare after two senators announced Monday night that they could not support the Senate's "replacement" bill, the Better Care Reconciliation Act, as Patchreports.
