ACROSS AMERICA — As millions of Americans celebrate Democrat Joe Biden's projected win of the U.S. presidency, counter-protests are erupting in response to the unofficial results. While no violence has been reported, most participants attacked the legitimacy of the election and others said "it's not over until it's over."

Biden, former vice president under President Barack Obama, is expected to become the 46th U.S. president after unofficial election results in Pennsylvania, with 20 electoral votes, put him over the 270 electoral votes required to win the presidency Saturday.

Pro-Trump activists gathered in cities across the country following the announcement, many in support of a baseless campaign called “Stop the Steal,” The Washington Post reported. The movement was kicked off Facebook this week for spreading misinformation and posts inciting violence.
