WASHINGTON, D.C. — Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is recovering after being hospitalized with an infection on Friday night. The court says that the 86-year-old Ginsburg could be released Sunday.

In a release, the court said that she had been feeling sick on Friday.

"After experiencing chills and fever earlier in the day, she was initially evaluated at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. before being transferred to Johns Hopkins Hospital for further evaluation," the court said.

"With intravenous antibiotics and fluids, her symptoms have abated and she expects to be released from the hospital."

The hospitalization is the latest health scare for Ginsburg, the court's second-longest currently serving justice.

She's been treated twice for cancer, which was first discovered last year after she fell and broke some ribs.

Of the eight press releases that the normally press-averse court has released in the past year, three have concerned Ginsburg's health.
