Seth Meyers' 'Closer Look': What President Trump And Roy Moore Have In Common
Roy Moore has more in common with Trump than his opponent, which Trump endorsed, Seth Meyers says.

During his "A Closer Look" segment Wednesday night, late-night host Seth Meyers examined Roy Moore, the winner in this week's Alabama Republican primary runoff against Luther Strange, who was endorsed by President Trump.
Meyers set up the segment by saying, "Trump knows nothing about policy" and cited examples like the president's response to the devastation in Puerto Rico
Roy Moore, "a darling of the far right known for his many years of open bigotry and homophobia," cares as little as Trump about policy, Meyers continued, playing a radio interview clip in which Moore admitted he did not what DACA or Dreamers are. And while Moore was not the Trump-endorsed candidate, he espouses the Trump-popularized conspiracy theory that President Obama was not born in the U.S. and says there are towns in the U.S. under Sharia law.
