Todd Rundgren, Donald Fagen Skewer President Trump In 'Tin Foil Hat'

Classic rocker Todd Rundgren and Steely Dan's Donald Fagen have teamed up for a new, satirical song and video called "Tin Foil Hat," in which they rip President Trump, drawing attention to many of the commander in chief's well-known idiosyncrasies.

"'Cause the man in the tin foil hat/ Is tweeting like a teenage girl/ He puts the Pluto in plutocrat/ It's gonna be a yuge yuge yuge new world," sings Fagen, the smooth voice heard in hit songs like "Reelin' In The Years" and "Rikki Don't Lose That Number."

The video stars a tin foil hat-wearing, conspiracy-theory-peddling primate named Bill O'Rangutan, a not-so-veiled jab at ousted Fox News star Bill O'Reilly.

Rundgren, who recently told Variety that Trump supporters should not come to his concerts, debuted "Tin Foil Hat" on Fox News' "Watters World." Rundgren told host Jesse Watters that he created the video to show at his live shows during a costume change, but it spurred shouting matches in the audience.

"It just became very disruptive, and I thought if you're that easily ticked off, you probably will become annoyed at some point in this show, and confrontation is not what the show is about," Rundgren said on the program.
