WASHINGTON, DC — President Donald Trump could kick off his 2024 presidential election bid during the January inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden, according to a report by The Daily Beast.
The specifics of a possible campaign launch were revealed by "three people familiar with the president's plans," according to the online publication, adding the president is "discussing specifics of a campaign launch with close advisers and confidants."
Trump is also floating the idea of a 2024-related event during Biden’s inauguration week, possibly on Inauguration Day if his legal efforts to overturn the 2020 election fail.

This isn't the first time sources close to the president have spoke about his behind-the-scenes planning for another presidential run in 2024. Just days after the Nov. 3 election, sources told Axios that Trump was considering the possibility.
Trump also reportedly told confidants he could announce a 2024 campaign before the end of this year, according to a Washington Post report.
