WASHINGTON, D.C. — Immigration and Customs Enforcement will begin raids on thousands of immigrant households nationwide and arrest undocumented family members this weekend, reports The New York Times.

Despite resistance among his own immigration agency officials, President Trump has moved forward with the plan after having postponed it.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (I.C.E.) will target "at least 2,000 immigrants who have been ordered deported — some as a result of their failure to appear in court — but who remain in the country illegally," per the Times.
